Age 90, formerly of Montour Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Oak Hill Manor in Ithaca, NY.She was born on December 20, 1927 in Valois, NY to the late George and Marietta Connolly.He was born in Elmira, NY on June 15, 1954, the son of the late Gerald and Esther (Ayers) Hyer.Bill graduated from Odessa-Montour High School and BOCES in 1972.She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Steve) Laughlin of Watkins Glen, Barbara (Jim) Adesso of Watkins Glen, Rebecca Wilkinson of Ithaca, Michael Rosbaugh of Painted Post, and Jacquelyn (Greg) Dense of Alpine; grandchildren, Matthew and Phillip Adesso, Stefanie (James) Gublo, Kimberly (Brandon) Jelliff and Alyssa and Jeff Dense; and one great granddaughter, Jennifer Gublo.Also surviving are two half-brothers, Tracy and Lewis Rosbaugh; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in the Town of Urbana on April 27, 1973, the son of John Mundt and Joanne Parke.He was predeceased by his son, Frederick Boyce, Jr., in 2012; mother, Alice Tucker, in 2005; father, Leslie Boyce, Sr., in 1953; brother, Leslie Boyce, Jr., in 2005, and brother, Charles Boyce, in 2012. He graduated from Odessa-Montour High School in 1991. He previously worked at Tops in Corning and Walmart in Painted Post. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.He was a member of the Reynoldsville United Methodist Church, Myrtle-Jefferson Lodge #131 F&AM, Kalurah Shrine Binghamton Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star Fern-Tyrone Chapter #142, Sons of the American Legion, and Watkins Chapter #182 R. Surviving are his beloved wife of 43 years, Susan Hyer; daughters, Billie Jo (Dustin) Carnes and Wendy (Lauren) Richtmyer; grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Carnes; brothers, Gerald (Donna) Hyer and David Hyer (Sue Snyder); sister, Donna (Dwight) Wilber; and by several nieces and nephews. Services will begin at p.m., followed by a reception at the Myrtle-Jefferson Lodge, 308 W. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Together he was raised by his loving bonus father and best bud, Lawnie E. Robert attended Trumansburg Central School District. He was currently working as a clerk at the local Byrne Dairy, after several years as a stay-at-home daddy.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Lodi Cemetery. He loved camping at Lake Bonin with family, watching Abby and Ky ride their bikes and was known as the “licorice man.” He loved taking his grandchildren, Riley and Kayley, for ice cream.
